Adrotsy is a personal health tracking and organizing application designed to help users securely manage medications, checkups, habits, menstrual cycle history, and related health logs.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

1.2 Health Information You Provide (Sensitive Data)

  • Medication names, schedules, dose history, and adherence status
  • Checkup logs, follow-up dates, and personal notes
  • Menstrual cycle tracking entries (if you choose to use it)
  • Habits and challenge tracking entries (if you choose to use it)
  • Audio notes and attachments you create or upload within the app

1.3 Technical / Usage Information

  • Device type and app version
  • Basic diagnostics (e.g., crash logs) to improve reliability

We do not collect more data than necessary to provide core app functionality.

2. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on your consent, contractual necessity (to provide services), and legitimate interests in maintaining security and reliability.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use data only to:

  • Provide medication tracking, reminders, and logs
  • Enable optional family profiles and sharing (when you choose)
  • Enable checkups, habits, menstrual tracking, and notes (when you choose)
  • Maintain app reliability, security, and performance
  • Provide customer support upon request

We do not sell personal or health data.

4. Sensitive Health Data & Consent

Health-related information is considered sensitive personal data. By entering such information into Adrotsy, you explicitly consent to its processing for the purpose of providing app functionality requested by you.

5. Google Drive Data Access & Storage (Optional)

Adrotsy offers an optional Google Drive integration that allows users to store backups of their Adrotsy data in their own Google Drive.

5.1 What We Access

  • Create a dedicated “Adrotsy” folder in your Google Drive
  • Upload backup files containing Adrotsy app data
  • Retrieve backup files only when you request a restore

Adrotsy does not access, read, scan, modify, or analyze any files or folders outside of the Adrotsy-designated folder.

5.2 Why We Access Google Drive

Google Drive access is used strictly for:

  • Backup of user-generated Adrotsy data
  • Restore of data back into Adrotsy with user consent
  • Storage of documents you upload within the app (optional)

5.3 User Control & Revocation

You control Drive access and can revoke permissions at any time through your Google Account settings or within app settings (where supported). Revocation may prevent backup or restore features.

5.4 Compliance Statement

Adrotsy’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use Google Drive data for advertising or unrelated purposes.

6. Data Sharing

We may share data only with service providers needed to operate the app (such as hosting, authentication, backup, and infrastructure providers). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and process it only for providing the service.

We do not share health data for advertising purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain data while your account is active and as needed to provide requested services. You may request deletion at any time (where supported).

8. Security

We use safeguards including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS)
  • Secure authentication
  • Role-based access control (where applicable)
  • Infrastructure security best practices

No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

9. Data Breach Notification

If a breach affecting personal data occurs, we will notify users and authorities as required by applicable law.

Your data may be processed outside your country depending on the infrastructure used. We apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

12. Children’s Privacy

15. Additional Disclosures (Compliance & Clarity)

15.1 Data Minimization & Purpose Limitation

We collect and process only the data reasonably necessary to provide the features you use. We do not use your sensitive health data for advertising, profiling for ads, or selling to third parties.

15.2 Service Providers & Sub-Processors

We may rely on third-party service providers for hosting, authentication, push notifications, analytics (if enabled), customer support tools, and backups. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it and use it only to deliver the service.

If you use Google Drive backup/restore, Google processes data under its own privacy terms in addition to this Privacy Policy.

15.3 Payments (If You Purchase a Subscription)

If Adrotsy offers paid features, payments and subscription management may be handled by Apple App Store and/or Google Play. We do not receive your full card details from these platforms; we receive purchase status (e.g., active subscription) to enable premium access.

15.4 Cookies / Similar Technologies (Website)

Our website may use essential cookies or similar technologies for security, basic functionality, and performance. If optional analytics are used, they will be limited and focused on improving the website experience (not health profiling).

15.5 “Do Not Track” Signals

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. There is no uniform standard for interpreting these signals. We do not use health data for cross-site behavioral advertising.

15.6 Legal Requests & Law Enforcement

We may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request. Where permitted, we may notify you of such requests.

15.7 Data Deletion & Legal Retention

If you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify data as required by applicable law, subject to limited retention needed for legal, compliance, security, dispute resolution, or enforcing agreements.

15.8 Google API Limited Use (Additional Clarification)

When you enable Google Drive features, Adrotsy accesses only the Adrotsy-designated folder and uses that data only for backup/restore and user-requested storage. We do not use Google user data to train advertising systems, and we do not sell Google user data.

15.9 User-Generated Content (Documents / Audio)

Any documents, audio notes, or attachments you upload or store are your responsibility. Please avoid uploading illegal content or content that infringes others’ rights. You control what you store and share.

15.10 Children Under 16

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 is using Adrotsy without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete the data.
